New England & Tri-State Bucket List

Rob and I are probably moving out of the New England & Tri State area, I thought I would make a "Bucket List" for what I want to see and/or do before I leave this area. For my readers who also live in this area or have been to this area...if you think I am missing something please feel free to comment. I love reading suggestions!!
  • Go to the Mayflower over in Plymouth, MA.
  • See Plymouth Rock
  • Visit Boston (what should I see when I am in Boston?)
  • Watch a Red Sox game at Fenway Ballpark (not that I am a Red Sox fan, but I want to see Fenway with my own eyes in person.)
  • Visit the Baseball Hall of Fame up in Cooperstown, NY
  • Walk through Central Park (yes, I have been to the city several times, but never got the chance to walk through this famous park)
  • Go to the top of the Empire State Building
  • See a Broadway Musical
  • Visit Trump Tower in Manhattan
  • Drive to Woodstock, NY (only 1.5 hours from my house)
  • Visit Orange County Choppers
  • Visit Salem, MA (My mother-in-law's family was involved with the Salem Witch Trials back in the day. The family owned the bar)
  • Drive Mt. Washington
  • Eat an ice cream at Serendipity
  • Walk on the Brooklyn Bridge
  • See a game in Citi Field (where the Met's play now)
  • See a game in New Yankee Stadium (this is not too high on my list as tickets are still pretty expensive)
  • See Cape Cod, MA
  • Spend an afternoon in Mystic, CT (yes...this is where Mystic Pizza was filmed)
Now this is a pretty big list and Rob and I may not get to everything on this list. If we do not then we have a reason why to come back for a vacation.

  3. When you do Central Park, why not pop in to the Metropolitan Museum of Art? It's my favorite thing to do in NYC. We actually do the reverse -- visit the MET and pop out to the Park. There's also the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine.

Up in NH White Mtns, there's Lost River and tax free outlet shopping.

On the way to Mystic, check out Gillette Castle. I'd've given you links, but pasting has been disabled in this comment box.

  5. I would love to go back to NYC sometime. Times Square is where Terry proposed, we then went to Serendipity for frozen hot chocolate (YUMMY!!!!) and then for a horse and carriage ride in Central Park. Such great memories!! I also got to see a game at Yankee Stadium- soooo cool!!!
